If you need extra help

Here at Northumbrian Water we are pleased to offer a wide range of services, designed for customers who may occasionally need extra help. For example, if you let us know that you have a disability or a condition that requires you to take regular medication and your water supply is interrupted, we can deliver bottled water. We can also send information to you in Braille, large print, on CD or in EasyRead format and we operate a telephone translation service for customers who do not speak English as their first language.

Password scheme for peace of mind

All of our employees carry identity cards and normally attend appointments which we arrange with you in advance. For extra peace of mind why not register a password with us? This means when anyone from Northumbrian Water visits you, they will show you their identity card and say your password. To register a password with us, or to check the identity of someone who claims to work for us if you aren’t expecting anyone, please call 0345 717 1100. If in doubt, keep them out!

Free Extra Care services

Northumbrian Water’s Extra Care services are free of charge and we keep your details securely on a computerized system – we don’t share this information with anyone else. When there is work being carried out in your area, we will contact you to offer our help if you need it.
