Free dementia training for families and informal carers -North East

Free dementia training is taking place on the Ten helpful hints day Thursday 27th August. It aims to demonstrate practical ways of coping, give information on local services/support and a chance to meet other carers and ask questions.

The aim of dementia training is to improve the quality of life of both the person with dementia and her/his carer by raising the level of understanding and knowledge of dementia.

This free event is at The Bradbury Centre, Darrell Street, Brunswick Village, Newcastle from 11:00 – 15:00. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
